The Chorus is under the direction of Jonathan McBride.

The chorus meets every Monday September-March at 7:15pm in the Omak High School Choir Room.

Jonathan McBride has been teaching band and choir at the secondary level since his graduation from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1998. Jonathan has directed or co-directed a number of student productions, including Guys and Dolls, the Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie, Pippin, and Fiddler On the Roof. In 2013, Jonathan was the vocal coach for OVOC’s performance of Spamalot.

In 2007, Jonathan and his family left Alaska for Orondo, Washington, and he has been teaching K-12 music, band, and choir in Pateros ever since. He earned his Master’s Degree in Instrumental Conducting from the American Band College in 2010, and later that year became one of the few National Board Certified Teachers in Instrumental Music from the state of Washington.
