Mamma Mia! Update

UPDATE ON OVOC’S PLANS FOR THE SPRING MUSICAL, MAMMA MIA!

On April 27, 2020 the Board of Directors for the Okanogan Valley Orchestra & Chorus voted to reschedule the 2020 community musical, Mamma Mia!, to the community musical time slot for May, 2021. We are so excited to present this fun-filled show and believe that postponing it until next year will allow for it to go on.

The Board was in full swing with the task of soliciting donors and advertisers for the show and there will be many of you who have already committed to assisting with this year’s production. If you are willing to extend your commitment into next year, we are so very grateful. If you would prefer to reconsider again when the time comes next season, please communicate your wishes via contact@ovocmusic.org. The Board will be contacting the season ticket holders who were guaranteed a seat for the musical this year to resolve how that will work for next year.

Director Judy Johnston and Producer Julie Alley will continue with the show, as will the major leading cast members and staff. Judy hopes to keep the full cast intact, although some parts will need to be recast. Meanwhile, write yourself a reminder that Mamma Mia! will hit the stage on May 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 2021!
