About Us.
Since 1984, the Okanogan Valley Orchestra & Chorus (OVOC) has united our Washington State community through the performing arts. Rehearsing from September through March, our inclusive community orchestra and chorus present three seasonal concerts each year—Fall, Winter, and Spring. Beyond the concert stage, our season features an annual Spring musical developing on-stage and backstage theater talent, alongside an annual Variety Show that celebrates diverse local acts ranging from dance to magic.
OVOC also houses dynamic smaller ensembles, including the jazz-focused Okanogan Valley Big Band (OVBB), the versatile brass ensemble Brassworks, and The OK Band, which supports youth musicians in local theater, pep, and marching bands. We welcome performers, volunteers, and music lovers of all skill levels to join our supportive family. To get involved, reach out to us at contact@ovocmusic.org.
