Audition Information:
We are so excited to see you come to auditions for Shrek the Musical on November 7 at the Omak PAC!
Please be prepared to stay from 10:00am -1:00pm.
You will need to come prepared to sing 30-60 seconds of a song. Pick a song that shows your vocal range, that you feel confident singing a cappella, and if you have a character in mind look for a song from another musical that you think that character might sing.
When preparing know your song well and bring the song to life. Tell us the story of what you are sing it.
Also come prepared to move. Make sure you are dressed in clothing you can literally crawl around in the floor in. Shrek has quite the cast of characters and you never know what you may be asked to do.
You will sing your vocal audition piece, learn a short dance, and be asked to do various readings or improv acting.

Theater
Since 1984, the OVOC Theater Department has been a vital creative outlet in the Okanogan Valley. What began with Gilbert and Sullivan operettas has grown into ambitious, large-scale Broadway-style musicals and diverse productions that bring together hundreds of local actors, musicians, and crew members to showcase their talents on stage and in the pit.
Our productions thrive on community collaboration, offering opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels—from acting and directing to set design, costuming, and sound production. Whether you want to perform or help behind the scenes for our annual spring musical, contact our Theater Representative, Eli Loftis, at eliloftis@gmail.com to get involved.
