Orchestra
Uniting the Valley Through the Power of Music.
Welcome to the Okanogan Valley Orchestra, a cornerstone of our community’s rich musical heritage. Since our founding in 1984, we have been dedicated to bringing together musicians from across the Okanogan Valley to create beautiful music and unforgettable experiences for our audiences.
Our orchestra is a vibrant ensemble of talented musicians of all ages and backgrounds, united by a shared passion for music. Under the skilled direction of our conductor, we rehearse on Mondays from 6-8pm at the Omak High School band room, from September through March, preparing for three seasonal concerts that capture the essence of each season: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each concert is a carefully curated blend of classical masterpieces, contemporary compositions, and sometimes even collaborations with local choirs or guest soloists.
At the Okanogan Valley Orchestra, we believe that music has the power to unite, inspire, and uplift. We strive to create performances that resonate deeply with our community, bringing people together through the universal language of music. Our concerts are more than just events; they are celebrations of the talent and dedication that exist within our valley.
We welcome musicians of all skill levels to join our orchestra. Whether you are an experienced performer looking to refine your craft or a budding musician eager to learn, the Okanogan Valley Orchestra provides a supportive environment where you can grow and contribute to the musical landscape of our region. Our rehearsals are not just about perfecting our performance but also about building camaraderie and fostering a sense of community among our members.
If you’re interested in joining the Okanogan Valley Orchestra or would like to learn more about our upcoming performances, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always eager to welcome new members into our musical family.
Let’s make music together and continue the tradition of excellence that has defined the Okanogan Valley Orchestra for decades.
